Rocky Creek Ranch - Ahh YEAH!!

Activities Include: Rock Creek Ranch's beautiful natural setting provides the perfect place to step back from the busyness of everyday life. While at Rocky Creek Ranch, you'll be able to enjoy a number of activities including swimming and tubing in the clear water of the Los Pinos River, tubing and paddle boarding at the Vallecito Reservoir, basketball, octoball, a screamer swing, zip line, archery, whiffle​​ ball, sand volleyball, and frisbee golf.

The Details:

Leaving for RCR from Sullivan Parking Lot at 8AM on June 10 and be returning around 7 pm on the night of the 14th.

What to bring to camp:

BEDDING: PILLOW, SLEEPING BAG, TOWEL

BASIC CAMP CLOTHES: JEANS, SHORTS, T-SHIRTS
BEACH TOWEL AND SWIM SUIT
JACKET OR HOODIE FOR COOL NIGHTS (Average summer temps- high 76 low 45) RAIN JACKET
TENNIS SHOES

CLOSED TOED SHOES FOR THE SWING AND ZIP LINE
*If you have long hair, be sure to bring hair accessories to tie hair up when going on rides SANDALS
SHOES, CHACOS, TEVAS OR THE LIKE ARE REQUIRED FOR TUBING THE RIVER BASEBALL JERSEY or some sort of jersey for night at the ball park. This is not mandatory
HAT, SUNGLASSES, SUNSCREEN, PERSONAL ITEMS (SOAP, COMB, SHAMPOO, ETC)

spending money (2 meals while traveling, plus snacks, tee shirts and souvenirs at camp -- $30 minimum recommended). Bring a towel for the pool & creek. It might be a good idea to pack a trash bag or two for dirty clothes.

We encourage folks to drink lots of water when in the high altitude. Water bottles are sold in the camp store or you can bring one from home. A small backpack may come in handy too!

Cell phones are collected at the beginning of the camp week and returned at the end of camp. Leaders are able to keep their phones so if you need at ask a question you can call their cell phone. The phone number for Rocky Creek Ranch is 970-403-1154. Phones are checked periodically throughout each day. If calls are placed after 9 PM an emergency number will be provided on the phone message. A Head Leader carries the emergency cell phone each night and emergency calls will be responded to immediately.

Don’t bring:

tobacco, alcohol, drugs, weapons, fireworks, etc. Consequences for breaking these or other camp rules (including curfews, boundaries, vandalism, etc.) may include your parents buying you an immediate trip home.
